"Brother, can you spare the time?" Can you hear the outcry of our seniors who live alone, away from family members? Aging gracefully in our society is an art. We live in a time where youth and vibrance eclipses our responsibility to take care of those who provided and nurtured for us when we were babies. We no longer have time to give our aging parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Sadly, we struggle to maintain our own core family, much less devote time to the old folk and extended family members. We rely on community senior programs, senior centers, senior communities, visiting nurses, and others to fill-in the gaps.
